Magic Carpet Lodge Seaside

I would not recommend this motel although it has a AAA sign out from and a Best Western logo in front. But our initial contact with the front desk was awful. The man had some sort of obvious condition and tried to place us in a cold, old, dirty room that he offered with a small portable room heater. We never did get the room with an internet connection. The room we finally got was comfortable and clean. The elevator didn't work and it was just not what one expects from a AAA property let alone a Best Western property. Nice accommodation for the star level. Free Internet access in some rooms. Complimentary continental breakfast - served in very small reception area. AM staff very very helpful in offering suggestions about sightseeing and free parking! Very much appreciated her help. ...read more

The hotel was easy to get to and was close to the area we wanted to visit.
